Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Finishing first in the Pacific Division at the conclusion of the 2006-07 NHL season, the Anaheim Ducks – led by team leader Teemu Selanne’s 94 points – then defeated Minnesota, Vancouver, Detroit and Ottawa in the playoffs to claim their only Stanley Cup championship. We have a gorgeous Stanley Cup trophy, with this unawarded example, produced by Boffey, similar to the examples awarded to each member of the Anaheim Ducks by the NHL in a tradition dating back to 1958. Standing a majestic 13” and mounted to a wooden base with black felt underside, the names of the men who made it happen are engraved beneath Anaheim’s executives, with “Anaheim Ducks” and “2006-07” engraved above. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
There is surface wear present over the reverse, with this not affecting the display quality of the engraved names. There is some additional surface wear over seams and the rim, with no dings or dents visible.
