Fueled by captain Jonathan Toews’ team-leading 66 points along with netminder Corey Crawford’s 33 wins, the Chicago Blackhawks would finish third in the Central Division at the conclusion of the 2014-15 NHL season. Nashville, Minnesota and Anaheim would all be vanquished by the Windy City squad during the Stanley Cup playoffs, with a talented Tampa Bay Lightning club defeated 4 games to 2 in the final, allowing Chicago to claim their third championship in six seasons. Absolutely stunning in appearance, we have a gorgeous 2014-15 Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup championship 14K white gold and diamond ring that was presented to team scout Dave Cowan, with this the same type of ring that was presented to the players and staff.
Augmented with a total of 355 round, pear, marquise and custom princess-cut diamonds, the size 10 ring has a hefty approximate weight of 95 grams. The captivating tableau feature’s the club’s famous Indian head team logo completely constructed of custom-cut diamonds over a bed of 50 custom princess-cut diamonds, with “Stanley Cup” appearing above in raised letters and “Champions” below. Four rows of round pave-set diamonds cascade downward over each side, with the bottom two rows of master set diamonds completely encircling the tableau. The left shank features all six Stanley Cup trophies won by the Blackhawks, with the years listed, with “Chicago 2015” above, while the right shank has the club’s alternate tomahawk logo featuring pear and round pave-set diamonds, with “Cowan” above in large raised letters and “Scout” below. The inner band contains an engraving of the team’s motto of “ONE GOAL” along with the silhouette of Lord Stanley’s hardware, with the results listed from each playoff series. "Jostens 14K" has also been inscribed along the bottom of the inner band.
Meticulously constructed with a dignified and majestic presence, the championship ring exhibits light wear with some minor scratches over the outer band, with some additional wear along edges which includes a few tiny nicks. Celebrating the most recent championship of one of the hockey’s all-time best beloved clubs, this paramount keepsake is arguably the most impressive jewelry we have ever handled. Please take note that this item may be subject to a silent reserve.
