Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

Competing for Sweden at the World Juniors, World Championships, World Cup and Winter Olympics, Daniel Sedin would score four points during his first Olympic tournament at the 2006 Games in Turin to help his nation claim the gold medal. We have a photo-matched Team Sweden jersey that was worn by the superstar at the 2006 Winter Olympics. An IIHF tag sits affixed to the collar beneath a Nike label with “56” sizing, with a Swedish Olympic crest over the right shoulder (heat-pressed). Styled with the three crown design, “12” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching royal blue tackle twill, with the Swedish Ice Hockey Association patch over the left breast. There is also an inventory bar code from Nike over the inside hem.
Exhibiting light use, there are a few marks over the front and lower right sleeve, with a bit of red paint transfer over the lower reverse, along with a pair of small rips along the top edge of the reverse band. Getty Image #56929013 from the Feb 24th contest against the Czech Republic has been matched to the series of black marks on the lower right sleeve, while Getty Image #56929106, also from Feb 24th, has been matched to the red mark on the lower back hem.
