This purple and gold mesh treasure was worn by Ian Turnbull when he landed in Los Angeles after being acquired from the Maple Leafs during the 1981-82 season. The jersey has Goodman & Sons X-Large tagging in the back of the neck. The jersey has its original fight strap, which shows evidence of numerous washings, and surname letters are sewn directly onto the upper back. The left sleeve has a pair of material-backed team repairs including a large 1 ¾" x 5" sewing fix. Additional game wear includes a pair of board burns on the rear tail, a long black mark through half of the team’s crest and numerous washed-out and partially washed-out game marks throughout the jersey. The interior of the jersey exhibits pilling on the elbows and near the fight strap. Comes with an LOA.
