Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A veteran of over 1,230 NHL regular season games which included scoring exactly 1,200 points, surprisingly, Dino Ciccarelli was never drafted, with the superstar appearing for five different clubs throughout his noteworthy HOF career. We have a photo-matched Detroit Red Wings sweater that was worn by Ciccarelli in 1995-96, his fourth and final season in the Motor City. An East Side label is affixed to the collar near a size “50” fly tag, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the classic winged-wheel team crest with embroidered detailing, the mesh-style V-neck has been accented with single-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Ciccarelli” arching over the upper reverse in matching material. The team patch has been screened onto the inside hem, with a team COA to accompany.
Exhibiting heavy use with numerous black marks throughout including large stick marks beneath the team crest, there are also a few holes over each elbow resulting from board burns, with a single team repair over the left elbow.
