A dozen 1955-56 Parkies involving Toronto Maple Leafs look to carry the most weight/interest here and is where we’ll start, with all of them right around VG, with corner/edge wear and not creases the grade-lowering flaws. Included are 4-Armstrong, 8-Morrison, 13-Cullen RC 17-Marshall RC, 18-Duff RC (wax stains and two top-to-bottom print lines), 19-Caffery RC, 20-Harris RC (wax stains and one print line), 26-Conacher OTG, 33-Clancy, 34-Day, 69-Hugh Beats Hodge and 76-Curry Scored Again (ST). Lesser, with a heavy crease, are Canadiens 41-MacKay and 71-Plante Is Protected. Eight ’54-55 Parkhurst entries average VG and are #s 20 (LP)(Lucky Premium Back), 26-Boivin, 28, 32, 67 (2), 83 (LP) and 93. …..It’s then on to the 1970s, with approximately 300 from ’75-76 joined by star and rookie cards, the latter better cards in a binder and condition generally in the VG to VG+ range. Upwards of 300 cards from ’76-77 are present but we do not spot the big names, with condition mostly VG+ and VG-EX. The stars (Orr, Lafleur, Trottier) and some RCs (Palmateer) return (in the binder) with ’77-78s totaling another 300-or-so, with condition improving another notch to a VG-EX average. Also in the binder are three dozen ’79-80 OPCs (Bossy, Melrose RC, Smith RC) and some miscellaneous cards, including low grade ’73-74 WHA cards of Plante and the Howe family. Some sifting and sorting fun await the new owner here.
