Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Classic Auctions is pleased to announce yet another partnership with the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise. Each desirable jersey has inventory numbers from the Canadiens, with each to be accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Canadiens letterhead. Featuring the 2012-13 NHL season, we have a pair of Canadiens jerseys, with an example issued to Davis Drewiskie, along with a jersey that was issued to Nathan Beaulieu for the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs. Each jersey features size tagging along the collar (58-Drewiskie/56-Beaulieu), with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the most famous and recognizable team crest in hockey, both V-neck sweaters have been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with each respective player’s name across the nameplate in single twill. We should also note that the LOA for Drewiskie erroneously states in the French text that the jersey is game-worn as opposed to issued. It should be further noted that despite each of the jerseys being sold as game-issued, the Beaulieu exhibits a few faint burns over the left elbow, with a few small holes resulting from board burns over the left shoulder of the Drewiskie jersey. Team patches that sit on the inside hems are numbered “A03086” (Beaulieu) and “A03080” (Drewiskie), while holograms affixed to the reverse numbers of each match the accompanying LOAs from the Canadiens.
