Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Classic Auctions is pleased to announce yet another partnership with the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise. Each desirable jersey has inventory numbers from the Canadiens, with each to be accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Canadiens letterhead. Currently skating for HC Kladno in the 1st Czech Republic Hockey League, Tomas Plekanec was drafted 71st overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 2001, spending parts of 15 seasons with the club. We have a Canadiens jersey that was worn by Plekanec during the 2012-13 NHL season. A size “58” CCM label is affixed to the collar with handwritten “2”, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the famous CH team crest partially-embroidered, the white V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Plekanec” across the nameplate in single blue twill. Exhibiting light wear with a few random dark marks present, there is also a small slit over the lower front, along with a bir of blue paint transfer. The team patch (A03189) sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU11194” from the Canadiens has been affixed to the reverse “4”, with a team LOA to accompany.
