Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
The cornerstone of five Stanley Cup championships, Guy Lafleur would spend 14 seasons in a Habs sweater, with additional seasons spent during the twilight of his career with both the Rangers and Quebec. This signed stick was used by the HOFer in the late-1980s during his time with the Nordiques, circa 1989-91. A Chimo GLM 999 Glas-Lite model, “Lafleur G.” along with “10” appears stamped-on, with the stick retaining its original black tape over the blade and rarely-seen navy blue over the handle and knob. Guy has signed the front side of the blade in silver, with the no issues for the gorgeous autograph. Light game use is exhibited, with some wear to the finish over the shaft. There are also a few tiny remnants of plastic wrap over the top edge of the blade.
