Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A household name in Canada due to his Summit Series heroics when the offered stick saw action in his competent hands, Paul Henderson spent five seasons in the WHA with Birmingham after his time in the NHL with Detroit and Toronto, with this CCM Custom Pro model used by the legendary star during his inaugural season with the Bulls, in 1976-77. “Henderson” appears stamped over the upper shaft (partially covered) with “19” handwritten, with the original black tape over the blade and white ribbed pattern (now discoloured) over the handle. The striping accent is intact, with just very light use exhibited on the lumber.
