Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
From his second of two seasons spent in New Jersey, Jaromir Jagr would surpass Marcel Dionne on the all-time points list in 2014-15 by scoring his 1,772nd point in his 1,500th game, on Dec 8, 2014. The Czech superstar also became the oldest player in NHL history to score a hat-trick, at almost 43 years of age, on Jan 3, 2015. We have a stick used by Jagr during his time with the Devils, in 2014-15. A Reebok Ribcore Tri Matrix model, “Jagr” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with a bar code and serial number affixed to the underside. The original black tape is in place over the blade and handle, with red tape wrap and handwritten cross at the base of the handle. Light use is exhibited on the composite, with nice wear including a few rips and marks to the taped section of blade, with a few minor abrasions to the lower shaft.
