Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Scoring a goal during the final game of the season to tie Ivan Hlinka's 1981–82 Vancouver Canucks' team mark for most points by a rookie, Pavel Bure would score 60 points in 65 games during his inaugural NHL season in 1991-92, more than enough to earn the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's top rookie. We have a stick used by the Russian Rocket during his premier NHL season, in 1991-92. A Cooper Player’s Model, “Bure” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with the original black tape over the blade and white over the handle. The original striping accent is intact over the lower shaft, with just very light game use exhibited, with some minor wear to the underside of the blade.
