Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
The first goaltender in NHL history to win the Ted Lindsay, William Jennings, Vezina and Hart trophies in the same season, Carey Price has appeared in seven All-Star contests, with additional time spent representing Team Canada. From only his fourth season, we have a signed stick used by the superstar netminder, in 2010-11. A Warrior model in Habs colours, “Price” appears over the upper shaft, with the original white tape on the blade and red-over-white on the handle and upper shaft/knob. Carey has signed the front side heel in black marker, with the signature somewhat light due to a weak marker. Great game use is exhibited, with numerous puck marks over the blade and heel, with a bit of blue paint transfer over the paddle and red over the shaft. There is also a tiny crack along the top edge of the paddle.
