Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Credited with a goal against the Carolina Hurricanes, on March 21, 2013, Martin Brodeur thus became the only goaltender in NHL history to register three career goals. We have a signed stick used that very season by the iconic Hall of Fame member, in 2012-13. A Sher-Wood Super Light 700g model, “Brodeur” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with the original white tape over the blade and knob, with red tape over the upper shaft. A serial number has also been affixed to the underside of the shaft, with Martin signing the top of the paddle in black marker, with the signature displaying well. Nice game use is exhibited, with puck marks over the front and reverse blade, with abrasions and wear to the paddle. There is also a minor separation along the underside of the heel section.
