Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A modern day MLB journeyman, catcher Gregg Zaun spent sixteen seasons in the bigs, appearing for nine different clubs, with a world championship won while with the Florida Marlins in 1997. We have a Tampa Bay Rays jersey worn by the Glendale native in 2009, his only season with the club. Labeling from Majestic sits over the front left tail along with a size “46” fly tag, with an embroidered MLB crest over the reverse neckline. Styled with “Rays” across the chest in layered, drop-shadow tackle twill, the solid grey button-up has been accented with “9” over verso in matching material, with an alternate crest over the left sleeve. With no unsightly marks or dirt staining, the jersey exhibits just some heavy pilling over the upper chest.
