His final NHL All-Star contest, Ray Bourque would be selected as a First Team All-Star in 2001, with this his 19th time participating in the NHL’s best-on-best showcase. Originating from his personal collection, we have a pair of multi-signed 2001 All-Star jerseys, along with a framed North American Stars team photo. The jerseys are matching in style, with one made by CCM, the other, a child’s size with no tagging. The adult-size jersey has been signed by 18 in marker including Bourque, Lemieux, Hull, Roy and others, while the child-size jersey has been signed by 18 in marker including Bourque, Robitaille, Lemieux, Fleury and others. A signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
The signatures on both jerseys present well despite being somewhat bunched-up, with moderate wear to the frame of the 2001 North American Stars team photo display. The 12” x 16” team photo has been matted over the left, with a small photo of Bourque along with a plaque and a pair of pins over the right, framed to 20 ½” x 32 ½”.
