Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Part of the 2017 NHL All-Star Game festivities and originating from a prestigious ceremony at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles where the NHL’s all-time top 100 players were named, we have a blazer worn by one of the honoured players, iconic defenceman Ray Bourque, with this accompanied by a pair of cuff links made from a 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs puck. In solid black and produced by John Varvatos, his sewn label is affixed just above the inside pocket, with additional labels including “58” sizing within the pocket. An NHL centennial crest is embroidered over the left breast, with both of the original buttons intact. Hailing from his personal collection and worn with pride while being selected as one of the NHL’s all-time greatest players, a signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany this important jacket. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
The cufflinks both have pieces of a 2017 playoffs puck over each face with the logo visible, with a small authenticity card included along with the original Tokens & Icons case and outer box.
