Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A fitting end to a fabulous career, Ray Bourque left the game of hockey a Stanley Cup champion, with his final NHL contest Game 7 of the 2000-01 finals, on June 9, 2001. We have an original framed work of Bourque hoisting Lord Stanley’s hardware, and it hails from his personal collection. At approx 18” x 24”, the superstar is expertly portrayed in a state of jubilation, with hockey’s ultimate prize proudly held above his head. The artist Ben Leduc has signed over the lower right, with the unique work double-matted and framed to full dimensions of approx 27 ½” x 33 ½”. Displaying wonderfully with just some wear to the frame, a signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
