The recipient of countless awards and accolades during his NHL tenure, Ray Bourque is the winner of five James Norris trophies as the league’s premier defenceman, and sits first all-time for career points for a blueliner. From the mid-1980s and hailing from his personal collection, we have a trophy that was presented to the HOFer by the Bruins Radio Network. At 16” in height and featuring a generic mounted player serving as finial over an approx 11” domed silver bowl, the bowl is mounted to a finished black wooden base, with the wider tier approx 7 1/4" x 7 1/4". A silver plaque with the particulars engraved has been affixed to the front of the base, including “Three Star Award”, “First Star” and “Ray Bourque – 1984-85”. A signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany this attractive award. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
The trophy displays beautifully, with surface wear over the silver components including the bowl, with some additional light wear to the wooden base.
