Exhibiting moderate handling and wear but no abuse is this 1954-55 Parkie set, with 41-Gordie Howe among the exceptions/condition leaders at EX-MT. Another 14 cards (commons) are in EX, EX+ or EX-MT shape. The key Johnny Bower rookie card is one of just two examples with a Lucky Premium back. It however is miscut and measures short and is otherwise VG with corner wear but no creases. We then count 37 crease-free cards in the VG+, VG-EX and VG-EX+ grades, including 33-Sawchuk (VG-EX+), 36-Delvecchio (VG+) and 99-Plante Foils Teeder (VG-EX). A crease or creases or enough corner/edge wear send most of the rest to G, G+ or VG. Of particular interest and VG are 8-Geoffrion, 82-Sasakamoose RC and 100-Sawchuk Stops Boom Boom, while G representatives are 1-McNeil, 7-Richard (scuffed surface), 14-Harvey and 31-Horton (wax stains). A crease and rounded corners affects 3-Beliveau (F), with varying degrees of toning throughout.
