Held in place of the NHL All-Star Game, Rendez-vous '87 was an international series between the Soviet Union national team and a team of All-Stars from the NHL, with the games played in Quebec City. The Russians would take the two-game series on aggregate, 8-7. From his personal collection, we have the ring that was presented to iconic blueliner Ray Bourque for his participation with the NHL All-Stars. Size 12 with an approx weight of 17 grams, a Rendez-Vous '87 logo sits centered over the tableau, encompassed above by “NHLPA NHL USSR”, with a pair of gorgeous diamonds inserted beneath. Stamped "10K" on the inner band along with a hallmark, the ring displays beautifully, with moderate wear over the outer band and shanks including scratches. A signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
