With over 40 years of history and the only remaining Canadian club in Major League Baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays can claim six division titles along with a pair of World Series championships thus far. We have a collection of approx 70 items, highlighted by memorabilia from the inaugural season in 1977. First, we have staff and clubhouse passes, with the staff pass for the 1977 season and the clubhouse pass for the first game, a Blue Jays “77” decal from the first season, an inaugural ticket for the first game played at Skydome, on June 5, 1989, a pair of 1989 ALCS full tickets for game’s 3 and 4 and a complete Jays schedule run from 1977 to 1991. This is followed by a collection of 36 Jays Toronto Star cards from 1987, with the majority signed including Fernandez, Bell, Moseby, McGriff, Fielder, Stieb and Tom Henke, programs from the 1993 World Series and 1985 ALCS, a 1884 Jays yearbook, 1989 Post-Season Media Guide, “The Drive of ‘85” booklet, a Loblaws Jays plastic lunch box with facsimile signatures, a trio of newspapers and more! The majority of the items display especially well with no issues and just light handling wear.
