This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Featuring both the New York and Kitchener Rangers and hailing from the late-1980s/early-1990s, we have a game-worn jersey collection of nine, with four examples worn by 1989 First Round draft choice, Steven Rice. Included, we have a NY Rangers jersey worn by Rice (he was with the club in just 1990-91) and a trio of Kitchener Rangers jerseys in solid white, with examples worn by Rice (#12), Greg Scott (#1) and Todd Warriner (#17), with Rice playing in Kitchener from 1987-91, Scott and Warriner in 1992-93. This is followed by a trio of Kitchener Rangers jerseys in solid blue, with examples worn by Rice (#12), Eric Manlow (#28) and Trevor Gallant (#11), with Manlow and Gallant both with the club from 1991-95. Rounding out the lot, we have a circa late-1980s OHL All-Star Game jersey worn by Rice and a game-issued Owen Sound Platers jersey (#1) from the early-1990s.
Each of the Rangers’ jerseys were produced by Maska or CCM and feature tackle twill team crests and numbers, with the NYR sweater having handwritten “52” sizing. Condition varies, with most showing moderate to heavier game wear, with the Scott and Warriner jerseys showing evidence of former nameplates and the Rice (both Kitchener jerseys), Manlow and Scott sweaters all having team repairs. The OHL All-Star jersey shows just light wear, with the Platers sweater in beautiful condition with no issues.
