Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
May we help you find your seat at the old Maple Leaf Gardens? These dignified items were worn by an usher at the venerable arena, the longtime home of the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1932 to 1999. For those lucky enough to have a ticket to see a hockey game, sporting event, concert or show, there was an usher dressed with this type of jacket and hat. A size 44 label is affixed to the inside pocket, with a “20” patch sewn on the lining just below the inside rear collar of the jacket, which has a Maple Leaf Gardens patch sewn on the left breast below a sewn-on “Usher” patch. The cap has “602” embroidered in blue thread on the front white portion on the forehead. “Muir Cap & Regalia Ltd” tagging sits under plastic on the inner lining, with sizes 7 5/8 (61) indicated nearby.
