With 97 points as a 21-year-old, Paul Coffey led all NHL defenseman in scoring in 1982-83, his third season in the league. Coffey had 29 goals and 67 assists and was named to the Second All-Star team for a second straight year as the Edmonton Oilers advanced to the Stanley Cup final for the first time. Coffey’s 1982-83 Oilers game-used stick is a Sher-Wood 5030 with “Coffey 7” stamped on the shaft that has a “28 fev 1983” date stamp on the back and red goalpost paint transfer. His original tape jobs remain on the knob over Coffey’s custom-shaved handle, and on the blade, which displays good wear along the bottom edge, with some light chipping at the top of the toe. Comes with Paul Coffey’s signed LOA.
