Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

Some different poses/photos than seen on their O-Pee-Chee counterparts have always made Topps cards from the early-1970s fun to check out, with this 1972-73 Topps assembly in nice shape. We spot a majority of cards though with a touched corner or two and EX-MT, with plenty of NMs and some NM+ and NM-MTs also present, along with some at EX and EX+ and just a few creased cards. A printing dot is visible in the background of the key Bobby Orr card, with corner and edge wear sending it to EX. The otherwise EX-MT Ken Dryden card has left-to-right and top-to-bottom centering issues (miscut on the reverse) but most of the other star/key cards are NM or NM+, including 18-Dionne, 62-Assist Leaders, 63-Scoring Leaders, 79-Lafleur, 90-Clarke, 122-Orr All-Star, 126-Hull AS, 127-Dryden AS and 150-P. Esposito, while the unmarked checklist is EX+. A crease is spotted in 1-Boston Bruins, 64-GAA Leaders and 166-Hodge. Card 17-Reg Leach is autographed by the 50-goal scorer, with a duplicate Leach among 15 doubles, the notables being 63-Scoring Leaders and 8-The Stanley Cup (VG-EX). The rookie card class (17) is nothing too special but does include the RCs of Rene Robert and goalies Gilles Meloche, Jim Rutherford and Phil Myre. An affordable memory-provoking Topps set awaits your collection.
