Used to produce the "Two Great Moments in Flyers History Led by Keith Primeau" lithograph that was gifted to Philadelphia Flyers season ticket holders in 2005, we have an original framed oil painting of the superstar pictured during his two greatest achievements. First, Primeau proved to be the hero after a lengthy seven-and-a-half periods, scoring the overtime winner in Game 4 of the 2000 Eastern Conference Semifinals vs Pittsburgh, with this match the third-longest game in playoff history. The second time Primeau rose to prominence occurred in Game 6 of the 2004 Eastern Conference Final, when his late third period goal tied the match and allowed the Flyers to score an overtime victory. At a large and imposing 35” x 47” and set in an elegant frame to full dimensions of 46” x 58”, Primeau is wonderfully depicted, with large and thick brush strokes utilized. A signed LOA from Keith Primeau will accompany, and please take note that this item may be subject to a silent reserve.
The painting remains in beautiful condition, with just light wear in spots for the frame.
