Especially attractive due to their oversized nature, we have a collection of 31 1939-40 O-Pee-Chee cards as well as a single example for 1940-41, along with 5 CCM team photos, with a pair of Brown Border examples from 1933-34 and a trio of Green Border photos from 1934-35. The 1939-40 cards include Jackson #20, Howe #72, Dumart #94, Langelle #7, Chamberlain #12, Taylor #15, Gagnon #25 (2), Heller #33, Coulter #34, Kerr #37, Hollett #41, Bruneteau #43, Desilets #44, March #45, Dahlstrom #46, Gottselig #50, Sands #56, Keating, Carr #62 (2), Field #64, Orlando #65, Giesbrecht #69 (2), Deacon #70, Kilrea #71, Wares #73, Smith #77, Allen #79 and McKenzie #81. The majority of the cards are in the low grade range, with corner wear, toning and the odd crease. The Dumart has a few creases and light discolouration, with corner wear including a few small creases to the Howe. The Jackson has a small tear, paper loss over the reverse and tape residue at each slightly-rounded corner, along with a few surface blemishes. The lone 1940-41 card is for Syl Apps #146, with surface/corner wear and paper loss over the reverse the main concerns. The Brown Border photos include the Canadiens and the “Stars” from the Ace Bailey benefit game, with some corner and edge wear to each. The Green Border photos include the Leafs, Maroons and Winnipeg Monarchs, with a large crease, small tear and edge wear to the Leafs photo, corner and edge wear along with glue residue over the reverse to the Maroons photo, and just light to moderate corner wear with no major issues for the Monarchs photo.
