Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
The first of four consecutive Stanley Cup championships won, the Montreal Canadiens would only lose 11 contests during the 1975-76 regular season, with Chicago, the Islanders and Philadelphia all handily defeated in the playoffs to claim Lord Stanley’s grail. From that powerhouse club, we have a collection of 11 pucks, with each signed by a member of the 1975-76 championship squad. Each puck feature’s a Habs logo and each player has signed above the logo in silver, with many also adding their induction year or Cup wins. Signers include HOF members Mahovlich, Robinson, Lapointe, Cournoyer, Lafleur, Lemaire and Scotty Bowman, along with Risebrough, Wilson, Bouchard and Don Awrey. The signatures all display wonderfully, with most of the pucks having a hologram affixed to the reverse. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
