Definitely numerous submission candidates among this batch of sharp 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee cards, all of them 2nd Series representatives, with duplication, heavy at times, to note and 37 different. Also to mention are hints of blue along some edges, often observed with high grade '69-70s. We spot the odd intermittent EX-MT or NM card but the majority are NM-MT or better, with dozens appearing MINT. Here's the rundown: 140-Wall, 141-Krake (3), 142-Hughes (3), 143-Peters RC (6), 146-Ferguson RC, 148-Laughton RC (4), 149-Ubriaco RC, 150-Dillabough (6), 151-Woytowich, 153-Rupp (3), 155-Pronovost RC, 158-Popiel, 159-Unger (8), 160-Monahan, 161-Ravlich (6), 162-Libbett RC (6), 166-Backstrom (2), 169-Gendron (4), 171-Peters, 172-Sutherland, 173-Cherry RC, 174-Roberts, 176-Barclay Plager (3), 179-Ecclestone, 181-McCreary (4), 194-Larose, 195-Goldsworthy (5), 196-Barlow RC (6), 197-Broderick RC (3), 199-Polonic RC (3), 202-Doak, 204-Murphy (4), 225-Lady Byng Trophy (2) and 229-Conn Smythe Trophy (2). There are five 228-Norris Trophy and six 229-Conn Smythe Trophy cards that have evidence of elastic bands creating slight warping, while an additional six Smythe Trophy cards also are not considered high grade due to moisture staining. Lots of possibilities with this alluring stack.
