This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Intriguing purplish-tinted encapsulated relics here feature players who toiled in the lower St. Lawrence River region of Quebec for senior teams located in Matane, Mont-Joli, Riviere-du-Loup and Rimouski and are highlighted by a couple of goaltenders. Denis Brodeur, (father of NHL record-holder Martin Brodeur) and Marcel Paille (of New York Rangers fame) are joined by Gerry Plamondon, a senior scoring star who helped the Canadiens to the Stanley Cup in 1945-46. Condition leaders are six at 50 VG/EX, while Plamondon is among the biggest contingent; two dozen slabbed 40 VG 3. Paille is one of 17 at 30 GOOD 2, while Brodeur and four others are 20 FAIR 1.5s. Four at 10 POOR 1 bring up the rear. Please see our website regarding missing numbers and 34 duplicates.
missing are #s 7, 12, 15, 21, 38, 49, 55, 56 and 62, while extras (all different) include (10) at 40 VG 3, (13) at 30 GOOD 2, (4) 20 FAIR 1.5s and (7) at 10 POOR 1. Old-time Quebec senior hockey!
