Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Captaining Toronto during his final two NHL seasons, Red Horner spent his entire career with the Leafs, helping the club claim the Stanley Cup in 1932. The oldest living NHL player when he passed in 2005, Horner was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1965. We have a vintage style Leafs jersey signed by the legendary star. A CCM model with “XL” tagging along the collar, the felt-style crest has “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, with “2” over the reverse in matching material. Horner has signed the reverse number in blue marker, adding “HOF 65”, with the signature bleeding into the background material somewhat. A hologram has been added beneath, with a COA to accompany.
