Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

A fun, mostly CFL grab bag is up for grabs here and in low grade, with the exception of some sharp 1971 O-Pee-Chee cards. We'll go chronologically and mention better star cards when they're present. From 1958 are 41 cards (30 different)(45-James, 55-Barrow, 80-Vaughan (3), 84-Shatto), followed by 30 (23 different) from 1959 (45-Coffey RC). Then there are (10) 1960 entries, (17) 1961s (47-Faloney) and a couple from '62, with all of these groups admittedly hammered. Condition improves among two dozen 1962 Post CFL cards, with another four from '63. Nothing above VG in a group of 22 from 1968 (16-Stewart, 47-Barrow, 55-Henley, 132-Checklist (partially marked, multi-creased)), while averaging G are (87) 1970 representatives (13-Coffey, 16-Henley, 37-Stewart, 47-Tucker, 89-Harris, 110-Checklist (marked, multi-creased)). The vast majority of (95) 1971 condition-sensitive OPCs are in crease-free (EX to EX-MT) condition, with some NM-or-better, but with a Joe Theisman card multi-creased and P. An unmarked checklist is VG, while nice stars include 36-Young, 52-Cutler RC, 101-Lancaster, 103-Reed and 123-Harris. Seven examples from 1972, a 1984 B.C. Lions team set (38) and a real low grade batch (47) of NFL cards from 1956 complete the card portion of this stash, with the latter group including two each of #s 1-Carson SP, 36-Donovan, 41-Brown RC, 74-Nomellini, 77-Connerly and 116-Layne, along with a couple of short prints and 9-Groza. CFL collectors might also be interested in miscellaneous Nalley's coins from 1963 (8 - no SPs) and 1964 (10, with 5-Brown, 43-Coffey, 61-Lancaster).
