Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

A gold medal winner at the 2014 World Championships with Russia, Andrei Vasilevskiy holds the Tampa Bay franchise records for most wins and shutouts in a single season among others. We have a stick used by the star keeper during his rookie season, in 2014-15. A Warrior Swagger model in Lightning colours, “Vasilevsky” appears over the upper shaft, with a code of “PROSWGWL” on the underside. With the white tape on the blade and blue cloth wrap on the handle and shaft/knob intact, there’s additional white tape reinforcing the blue, with a couple strands added to the top of the paddle. The stick exhibits nice use, with numerous puck marks on the front of the lower shaft and both sides of the blade, with a few chips and a crack along the top edge of the paddle. A second crack is also visible just above the handle as well as a few chips, with red paint transfer and a few puck marks also present on the shaft.
