Another exceptional ensemble from our consignor's alluring vintage non-sport stash includes five gorgeous wrappers featuring "Zip Puzzle Card Gum" on the fronts, along with a display box that started out with 48 packages in it. Three Zip puzzle cards (NM or better) show how the cards were connect-the-dot puzzles - kids could send-in a complete 60-card set for a chance to win a CCM bike or other prizes. The wrappers display bold original colors and have been folded back into their original form, while the box has a few notable issues. Pencil writing in French is on the lid, with a top-to-bottom crease near the right edge. A one-inch tear in the upper left front panel, a tear in the left side panel and small tears in the back panel are to be aware of, along with staining from the gum/sugar along the bottom edge and on the interior. Beauty cards are #s 37-Voyageurs Shooting Rapids, 42-First Northwest Mounted and 46-Father Jean De Brebeuf.
The aforementioned writing includes ".05 Le Paquet" and "48 pqts - 4 dans chaque pqt", indicating that packs each contained four cards. Unused cards are not plentiful; between two and four of each offered card here show up on the PSA Population Report. Box measurements are 7-1/2" by 5-1/2" by 2-3/8".
