Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A veteran of 23 NHL seasons, Ron Francis maintained better than a-point-a-game average throughout his Hall of Fame career, with over 1,700 points scored along with being a three-time Lady Byng Trophy winner. We have a stick used by the two-time Stanley Cup champion. A Franklin Graphite model, this type of stick was used by Francis during the mid-to-late-1990s with the Penguins and Hurricanes. ”Francis” appears over the inserted Franklin blade – partially covered by the intact black tape, with the original white ribbed cloth grip in place over the handle/knob. Exhibiting nice use, there is some wear to the blade and a few marks and abrasions to the lower shaft, with additional wear over the handle. Hailing from the personal collection of Ray Bourque, this stick will be accompanied by his signed LOA. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
