Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
With over 1,100 NHL regular-season games under his belt, Shayne Corson captained two clubs during his lengthy 19-seasons, with three appearances at NHL All-Star Games, in 1990, 1994 and 1998. We have a signed stick used by the Midland native during his time with the Canadiens, in the late-1990s. An Easton Z Bubble model, “Corson” is stamped along the stem of the inserted blade, with the original white tape over the handle and knob. The blade tape has been removed to facilitate the large and flowing blue marker signature executed by Corson. The stick itself exhibits good use, with wear to the blade and dark marks to the shaft. There are also a few additional marks to the taped handle along with a bit of red paint transfer. Hailing from the personal collection of Ray Bourque, this stick will be accompanied by his signed LOA. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
