Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
First playing his minor hockey in the Durham Region, Mitch Marner spent the 2011-12 season with the Vaughan Kings, helping lead the team to the GTHL title before moving on to the Don Mills Flyers. Originating from that season with Vaughn, we have a pair of signed gloves worn by a young Marner. Warrior models in solid black with white and reflective purple accents, “M Marner” is embroidered over each wrist guard, with “87” embroidered over each upper thumb guard. The gloves exhibit moderate to heavier use, with rubbing to the leather along edges and wear to the graphics over each thumb including some material loss over the right thumb. The palms also show wear, with a few holes within the left palm. Marner has signed each glove in silver just below the wrist, and the signatures both display nicely. An LOA from the Marner family will accompany.
