Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019

A member of the Philadelphia Flyers’ deadly Legion of Doom line, John LeClair was a five-time All-Star throughout his lengthy career, with his crowning achievement the pair of overtime game-winning goals scored during the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals. We have a signed stick used in the late-1990s by the two-time Bobby Clarke Trophy-winner. A Sher-Wood PMP7000 model, “LeClair 10” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with additional “John LeClair” graphics on the underside. Sporting the original tattered black cloth grip over the handle, the blade tape has been removed, with the blade itself customized – with the left-hand curve reduced and the top of the toe section bent slightly back. LeClair has added a black marker signature across the blade along with “Best of Luck”, with the signature and inscription somewhat worn. The stick itself exhibits a bit of wear along the topside edge of the blade, with marks to the shaft. Hailing from the personal collection of Ray Bourque, this stick will be accompanied by his signed LOA. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
