Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Captaining Anaheim for seven seasons, Paul Kariya achieved a trio of First All-Star Team selections throughout his Hall of Fame career, with the Lady Byng won back-to-back in 1996 and 1997 as the NHL’s most gentlemanly player. We have a signed stick used by the 2003 Stanley Cup finalist during his time with the Ducks, in the early-2000s. An Easton Ultra Lite model, the original white tape is present over the handle, with the blade tape removed. Exhibiting just very light wear with some chipping to the surface of the shaft, Kariya has signed the blade, adding “To Ryan - Best Wishes – Your Friend 2001”. Hailing from the personal collection of Ray Bourque and accompanied by his signed LOA, this stick has been dedicated to his son Ryan. A portion of the sales from the Ray Bourque personal collection will benefit the Bourque Family Foundation.
