Dozens of beauty NM-or-better cards dominate the popular Topps' puck issue offered here, with the key rookie cards and the two (unmarked) checklists, refreshingly, not among the condition exceptions. A perfectly-centered Phil Esposito RC is among the condition leaders and at least NM-MT in our eyes, while Cheevers, Giacomin, Cournoyer and Henderson rookies, as well as the two checklists, have less-than-perfect centering but look to be NM+ or NM-MT, similar to the well-centered Bobby Hull example. Team cards are attractive, but with some subtle issues, detailed on our website. A Glenn Hall card (#55) is graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, with the two Gordie Howe entries most notable in the less-sharp contingent; #108 is VG-EX, with #122-600 Goals SP at VG. Leafs 17-Keon and 77-Bower are VG+, with 64-D. Hull RC among a half-dozen lower grade cards. Please visit our website for more details and photos.
The Canadiens group shot is nicest among the team cards at NM (OC), with the Maple Leafs and Red Wings EX+ and the Rangers EX. A light half-inch subtle crease affects the Black Hawks, along with two subtle top-to-bottom parallel "lines", about a half-inch apart, which give the beholder the expectation of discovering light back creases. The same is observed with the Bruins SP card but when the cards are flipped over, light creases cannot be detected - somewhat bewildering. The Bruins card is otherwise EX-MT and the Hawks VG+. In summary, dozens of inviting cards await the high bidder.
