Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
First starring for the U. of Maine Black Bears, David Cullen would later spend the majority of his career in the AHL, with his NHL time limited to 16 games with Phoenix spread over two seasons, along with a trio of games for Minnesota. We have a Coyotes jersey that was issued to the St. Catharines native in 1999-00. A Pro Player label and “54” size tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Pro Player logos over the reverse hem. Styled with the intricate multi-coloured Coyotes team crest that saw use from 1996 to 2003, “2” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Game-issued and never worn according to both the accompanying LOA and the team patch on the inside hem, we should report a few small stains on the reverse, along with a small repair.
