Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A product of TJ Motor Ceské Budejovice, Jaroslav Modry was drafted by New Jersey in 1990, with his first season with the Devils occurring in 1993-94. Additional NHL time would be spent with 5 other clubs throughout his career including Los Angeles and Dallas. From his lone season in Atlanta, we have a Thrashers jersey worn by the Czech defenceman in 2005-06. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests over the bottom hem and reverse neckline respectively. Styled with the Thrashers team crest that saw use from 1999 to 2006, “44” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-yellow tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Exhibiting just light game wear which includes a few board burns over the reverse hem, the jersey remains in beautiful condition. A patch from MeiGray numbered “C00809” sits affixed on the inside hem near a “2005-06 Season” swatch, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Blue Set 2" example. An LOA will accompany from MeiGray, along with a COR.
