Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Traditionally the dream of literally every Canadian-born boy throughout its history, the Stanley Cup has been won by numerous teams since first being donated by Lord Stanley in 1893, with those individuals lucky enough to hoist the famous grail the envy of a nation. We have an especially attractive photo of North America’s most famous trophy, with this example signed by 21 past Stanley Cup-champion Montreal Canadiens, including 9 Hall of Fame inductees. All scripted in silver with each listing the years of his Cup wins, included Hall members are Beliveau, Lach, Cournoyer, Moore, Lapointe, Bouchard, Johnson, Lafleur and Henri Richard, along with Goyette, Hodge, Rousseau, Mahovlich, St Laurent, Marshall, Talbot, Houle, Roberts, Langlois, G. Tremblay and Pierre Bouchard. The bright signatures literally jump off the dark background, with just very light wear to the photo itself. A sticker from KSA has been affixed to the reverse, with a matching LOA to accompany.
