Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
From the Big E’s lone season in Toronto where he witnessed action in 33 games, we have a Maple Leafs jersey worn by Eric Lindros for just a single contest, on Nov 17th vs Boston - where he scored the game-winning goal! Size “58” tagging is affixed to the collar, with partially embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Featuring the classic Leafs team crest in use between 1987 and 2016, the garment has been styled with tri-layer tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers along with matching alternate “TML” patches over each shoulder. A MeiGray patch numbered C09772 sits on the inside hem near a year swatch, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White Set 1 - One Game Only - Worn 11/17/05" example.
Worn for a single game, just a few random marks are present on the garment including a board burn with small resulting hole over the left elbow. Eric would also add an assist during the Nov 17th contest to finish the night with a pair of points.
