Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Wayne Gretzky scored an astounding 163 points in 1990-91 for the L.A. Kings to claim the ninth of his record 10 Art Ross Trophy wins. The Great One signed in black marker on the front of the Easton wood blade insert of his Easton Aluminum HXP5100 game-used stick. “Gretzky” is stamped on the blade insert, which has a chip on the top edge through Wayne’s original baby-powdered black bulldog tape job. “Gretzky” factory graphics are high on the shaft below his original foam gripper knob. Kings equipment manager Peter Millar’s original “A 44” coding is written in black marker on top of the knob, which was specially customized with a code written on the butt end "2 9 91 P1" and a small hologram sticker added near the signature by our consignor.
