Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

The 7th overall selection at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Mark Scheifele has averaged just over a-point-a-game during his last three NHL seasons, with a brilliant playoff performance in 2017-18, helping to take a strong Winnipeg team to the Western Conference finals on the strength of his 20 points in only 17 playoff games. We have a Jets alternate captain’s jersey worn by Scheifele in 2016-17 that served as a “back-up” example. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a gorgeous layered team crest with textured detailing, “55” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The alternate’s “A” sits over the left breast, with the faux tie-neck jersey also sporting the NHL 100th anniversary crest on the right sleeve. A COA from the Jets organization will accompany.
We should note that each lower sleeve circumference has been decreased, with the material "brought-in" and sewn together over the lower third. The team patch is also situated over the reverse hem, listing the garment as an “Official Game Worn Jersey”. Just a few marks are visible over the white striping bands on each sleeve. Worn by Scheifele for some period of time during the season according to the Jets, because it was an extra jersey, the team couldn't confirm when it would have been worn and for how long, hence it’s designation as a back-up jersey on the team COA.
