Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
A steal as the 210th overall selection at the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Henrik Zetterberg spent his entire NHL career in Motor City, winning a Conn Smythe while being crowned a Stanley Cup champion in 2008. We have a stick used by the Swedish star in 2012-13. A Warrior Covert model in solid white with silver and black accents and identifiers, “Zetterberg” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with the original pink tape (for Hockey Fights Cancer) on the black-painted blade and especially sticky white cloth wrap on the handle. Henrik has signed the front side heel in silver, adding “HFC 2013 Game Used” just above, with both the signature and inscription standing out beautifully against the dark background. The stick itself shows light use, with wear to the taped section of blade along with marks to the shaft just above the area that has been painted black.
