Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
The 75th player in history to reach the 1,000 career points plateau, Daniel Alfredsson spent 17 seasons in the nation’s capital, officially becoming a Canadian citizen during the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. From earlier-on in his career, we have a stick used by the superstar, circa 1997-98. A Titan ASD model, “D Alfredsson” is stamped over the lower shaft, with the original black tape on the blade and white over the handle, with handwritten ”11”. Additional white tape has also been applied to the shaft in a spiral pattern, and we should note some loose tape strands on the blade. The stick shows heavy use, with considerable wear to the taped section of blade - with tears to the tape, along with marks to the lower shaft and additional wear over the handle.
