Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Closing out an important chapter of both hockey and Canadiana, the venerated Maple Leaf Gardens witnessed its final game in February of 1999, and after almost 70 years of trials and tribulations for the iconic Toronto Maple Leafs, the loss is still felt two decades later. We have a wonderful framed display celebrating the seminal venue. Programs from the first game on Nov 12th, 1931, (modern copy) and the final game on Feb 13th, 1999, have been triple-matted, with small gold plaques beneath listing the dates, along with Leafs coins and a title plaque added above. Framed to full dimensions of approx 22” x 26”, the sentimental display will make any blue and white fan proud, with a “Last Game” attendance certificate accompanying (8 ½” x 11”).
